As a major property practice, they have a market-leading energy team comprising surveyors, valuers, environmental specialists, project managers, and town planners. They provide sound independent advice on all aspects of energy projects, enabling clients to capitalize on opportunities in the energy market.
Project Developer – Renewable Energy Specialist
Location: Leeds, Yorkshire - Hybrid Working
Salary: circa £40,000pa + Package
Due to successful growth, they require a Project Developer to report to their Leeds offices, with occasional travel to development sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify sites, landowners, and infrastructure routes.
* Screen potential energy development sites and advise on opportunities.
* Conduct grid connection screening and advisory.
* Prepare feasibility studies and options appraisals.
* Manage stakeholder relations and coordinate planning applications.
* Draft and negotiate heads of terms, option, and lease agreements.
* Complete investment appraisals, due diligence, and valuations.
* Negotiate acquisition and disposal of energy assets.
* Manage and mentor junior team members.
* Attend industry events and draft press articles to promote business.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent project and people management skills.
* Experience advising and managing clients across multiple projects, including negotiating terms.
* Relevant experience and achievements in the energy sector.
* Strong knowledge of energy technologies and environmental constraints.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong leadership and line management abilities.
* Confidence in public speaking.
* Full clean driving license.
