The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Allied Health Assistant to join the Physiotherapy team on a permanent part-time basis. You will be tasked with conducting patient therapy programs, both in individual and group settings, under the direction and supervision of the physiotherapist with adult inpatient and outpatients. The role will also involve providing administrative assistance, and hydrotherapy to assist the physiotherapy team with the daily management of our caseload.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance (Allied Health Assistance)
* Previous experience in physiotherapy department
* Demonstrated communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Flexible, positive approach to work
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
* Relevant clinical experience in rehabilitation
* Previous experience running group sessions
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills
