The Adult Physical Disability & Sensory Service is a countywide service, supporting adults to maximise independence and autonomy. As a service we strive to deliver best outcomes for our customers and carers and our high performing Team Managers are pivotal in supporting the service to meeting the objectives to delivering excellence.
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent part-time (28 hours per week) Team Manager to join the Adult Physical Disability & Sensory Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, focussed and energetic person who is positive and passionate in their work and strives to achieve excellence, taking a strengths based approach to practice.
You will need to be flexible and dynamic in your approach, able to make positive contributions, bring fresh ideas, creativity and innovation to delivering the best possible outcomes possible for our customers and carers. You will need to work positively and collaboratively with your Team Manager and Service Manager colleagues and take an approach that consistently aims to improve our customer journey and experience.
Through your leadership you will optimise the potential of team members, help support their development, and promote the team's identity, wellbeing, and performance in a challenging yet rewarding and supportive environment.
You will be a registered qualified Social Worker that has been working at Level 3 for at least 2 years, or a registered qualified Level 4 Social Worker, or an existing Social Work Team Manager (or equivalent e.g., Lead Practitioner or Team Leader) working with Adults or Childrens Social Care in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic leadership team, with a proven track record of rising to challenges and constantly evolving to use our resources to best effect.
Ideally you will be able to evidence:
1. experience of Team Manager/Team Leader work
2. experience of supervisory responsibilities
3. Have experience of line managing social care staff (registered qualified Social Workers, unqualified Social Care Practitioners and/or, student Social Workers)
4. .Flexibility and resilience working in a high demand environment with changing priorities
5. The ability to manage risks effectively
6. The ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
