Location: Burnley
We are seeking a committed and creative Art Teacher to join a supportive Alternative Provision in Burnley from September. This is a full-time role on a one-year fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive Art lessons to students aged 11–16
* Adapt teaching to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
* Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership to create a safe and encouraging learning environment
* Inspire students to express themselves and achieve personal and academic growth through art
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or substantial relevant teaching experience
* Experience in an Alternative Provision or similar setting is highly desirable
* Strong behaviour management skills are essential
* A patient, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
