We are recruiting for a professional and welcoming Site Receptionist to join our team on a multi-million-pound scheme in central Leeds. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff arriving on site, playing a key role in creating a positive and efficient front-of-house experience.
Our Site Receptionists are essential to the smooth running of our operations, providing a friendly and organised presence at the site entrance. You will be responsible for managing reception duties, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring that all visitors are greeted and directed appropriately. Candidates should be personable, well-organised, and confident in handling a variety of tasks in a busy site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The Receptionist will:
• Greet and sign in all visitors, ensuring site protocols are followed.
• Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
• Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.
• Issue and manage visitor passes and PPE as required.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• Support site staff with general administrative tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date records of site access and visitor logs.
• Assist with booking meeting rooms and coordinating site events.
• Provide support with printing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
• Update notice boards and reception signage as needed.
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Site Manager or Project Team.
Essential
• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
Desirable
• Experience in a construction or site based environment.
• Familiarity with visitor management systems.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
