Job DescriptionExpression of Interest - Future Opportunities (please expect longer timescales).
The Energy Transition is the fundamental shift underway in how we, as a global community, produce, distribute, and consume energy, with the overarching goal of transitioning to a lower carbon future.
Will you be part of the solution? If you are passionate about making a difference in the sector, then join Stantec's industry-leading Energy team in driving the change!
As a result of recent successes and the development of new projects and clients, Stantec is looking to speak with Principal Mechanical Engineers for future opportunities in the coming months within our Energy & Resources team. These roles can be based in any of our UK offices, preferably reachable from the Midlands or Newcastle.
Working as part of our Waste and Energy team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including conventional EfW plants, district heating, gasification projects, hydrogen schemes, and biogas production projects.
In this role, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from optioneering through detailed design and installation. Responsibilities include feasibility studies, site surveys, investigations, and collaboration with clients, partners, and team members to develop designs and solutions across various projects in the Energy and Resources sector.
As designers in the construction, energy, and waste sectors, we take our responsibility for HSE matters seriously, fostering a culture of open scrutiny and continuous improvement.
