If you are a keen problem solver with excellent communication skills, we have an opportunity for an organised and proactive Support Delivery Manager to join us on our mission to deliver end-to-end control systems.
What We Need From You
As a Support Delivery Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our contract delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely and on budget. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers and subcontractors, taking ownership of day-to-day operations and helping drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and a responsive service
* Planning and resourcing site visits, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors to meet deadlines
* Overseeing subcontractor performance and ensuring work is delivered to high standards
* Managing contract finances, authorising proposals and purchase orders, and reporting to senior leadership
* Ensuring health and safety documentation (RAMS) is prepared and submitted ahead of site activity
* Leading preventative maintenance planning, briefing site teams, reviewing reports, and ensuring timely follow-up
* Owning and managing issues through our tracker system, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and driving resolution
* Collaborating with other delivery managers and technical leads to plan resources and share best practices
Requirements
* Degree qualified or equivalent experience in projects (ideally infrastructure) preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of control systems is an advantage
* Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with clients, supply chain and team members
* Ability to manage and motivate a team and demonstrate leadership potential
* Awareness of Project Management, Risk Management, Commercial Management and Contract Execution techniques
* Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a larger multi-discipline team
* Holds or is working towards a valid UK manual driving licence
