Senior Care Practitioner Days. Longridge Hall Care Home
* Hourly Rate: £14.45 per hour
* Hours: 38.5 hours per week (3-4 shifts per week on a rolling rota)
* Shift Pattern: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Practitioner for day shifts to join our exceptional team. This is an opportunity to work in a well-regarded care home, offering professional development and a fulfilling role in a supportive environment.
As a Senior Care Practitioner at our home, responsibilities include:
* Delivering personal care, emotional support, and companionship to residents.
* Promoting independence and enriching the lives of residents by encouraging participation in hobbies and daily activities.
* Supervisory responsibilities, including staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, and supporting the Home Manager with various administrative tasks.
* Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and care within the home.
* Liaising with families and healthcare professionals to support the holistic care of residents.

* Overtime is paid for working over full-time hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions.
What We're Looking For
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
* Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
* Strong communication and record-keeping skills, including familiarity with digital systems.
* A positive, compassionate, and calm approach, with the ability to guide and support colleagues under pressure.
* Flexibility to work on a rolling rota as needed.
