Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
* Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Supervising Social Worker who is:
* Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
* Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
* Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
Requirements:
* Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
* Full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
