Delivery Consultant - Beauty, Wellness & Private Equity
We are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Senior Consultant to join a fast-growing consultancy that partners with cosmetic and personal care clients ranging from start-ups to global multinationals. This is a rare opportunity to step into middle management, working directly with senior leadership while shaping regulatory strategies across multiple sectors.
The role is hybrid (2–3 days per week in Birmingham) and offers exposure to cosmetics, food supplements, and medical devices. You will lead projects, manage client accounts independently, and contribute to the consultancy’s rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
* Attending prospect meetings and onboarding new clients
* Attending client meetings both remotely and onsite as required
* Creating regulatory strategies for global markets
* Creating, maintaining, and conducting gap assessments on technical file documentation and Product Information Files (PIFs)
* Reviewing cosmetic formulations for compliance
* Conducting label reviews for cosmetic products
* Managing product registrations and notifications where relevant
* Preparing and reviewing UK Responsible Person and EC Authorised Representative documentation
* Creating, reviewing, and signing off Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs)
* Liaising with Notified/Approved Bodies and Competent Authorities
* Attending exhibitions, conferences, and networking events
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics sector
* Eligibility to work in the UK and a strong understanding of relevant compliance frameworks
* Certified and qualified to prepare and approve Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs)
* Solid grasp of UK and EU regulations; additional global market knowledge is an advantage
* Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
* Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Commercially aware, balancing compliance requirements with business objectives
* Degree‑level education (or higher) in a relevant scientific or technical discipline

* Knowledge of UK & EU regulatory frameworks essential; global exposure desirable
* Confident and qualified to sign off CPSRs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
