Job Description The postholder will contribute to reports and assessments and participate in meetings where appropriate. Family Support Workers require to establish working relationships with parents, carers and children in order to offer support and guidance. A Family Support Worker will participate with planned work with children and families either alone or alongside colleagues and assist with managing crisis. The post holder will also support/supervise family time between children and their parents as and when required. Ther e is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. This post is for 29 hours per week working Tuesday - Friday. Location is Banchory, Deeside. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
