Reporting to the Business Growth Manager, you will receive training and support to build and grow key customer relationships across UK Government & Industry partners. You will work with long‑standing customers to ensure projects are delivered to high levels of satisfaction and maintain CACI IIG’s position as their partner of choice. Working closely with the Business Growth Manager, you will also develop new business within the current customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development of the sales pipeline and strategies for key growth areas and programmes, aligned with CACI IIG’s overall strategy, and report progress to the CNI Stream Director and Commercial Team.
* Collaborate with Account Leads and Business Development to support the existing sales pipeline and accounts, and identify future growth opportunities.
* Manage and triage opportunities arising from a wide range of frameworks and procurement sources (Crown Commercial, Utilities, National Security and Defence, Transport, Health) and share with the appropriate teams.
* Maintain and update data in CRM systems (Bigin, Netsuite) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities and client interactions.
* Identify opportunities aligned to key revenue and profitability targets.
* Support the generation of profitable CNI sales, including upselling and cross‑selling, and identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients, new clients and strategic partners.
* Work with the Technical Leadership Team to develop propositions to bring to market, reflecting a deep understanding of the domain and client needs.
* Make regular visits to our Bristol & Plymouth office, and visit customers as required.
Qualifications
* Grade A/B level university degree.
* Proactive, driven individual with a genuine passion for building a career in Account Management.
* Experience in customer‑facing roles, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding service and client satisfaction.
* Keen interest in the IT and Digital space, especially Architecture, Cloud, and Application Development.
* Confidence to engage with high‑level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflict.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and act with minimal supervision.
* Self‑starter, proactive with drive and ambition.
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
* Must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years to meet security clearance requirements.
* Candidate must be able to obtain high‑level security clearance.
