Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse and wide‑ranging caseload of dermatological conditions in a community setting.
* Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of dermatological conditions.
* Utilise dermoscopy to examine and monitor skin lesions.
* Perform minor surgical procedures including excisions of cysts, moles, skin tags, warts, and lipomas.
* Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventative skin care.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and clinical documentation in line with GMC guidelines.

Experience
* To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Valid inclusion on the GMC Register.
* MBBS/MBChB or equivalent.
* Substantial experience in diagnosing and treating dermatology conditions within a hospital setting.
* Comprehensive understanding of dermatological conditions and current evidence‑based practice guidelines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
* Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, recognising the impact of dermatological conditions on their quality of life.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex cases, interpret diagnostic results, and devise appropriate treatment plans.
* Good organisational skills and time‑keeping.
