Job Purpose
Join our dynamic team at our Stonehouse, Gloucestershire factory to lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of finished goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service at our main production facility and oversee our 3PL operation in Somerset.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Compliance
1. Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
2. Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
3. Maintain compliance with legal and environmental standards.
Warehouse Operations
4. Oversee daily warehouse activities at Stonehouse including goods-in, storage, picking and despatch.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity.
6. Implement and monitor warehouse layout and space optimisation.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Implement Cycle counting
9. Ensure 3PL compliance:Lead daily calls to ensure timely flow of information/data and issues are resolved in a timely mannerWeekly in place meetings, with defined agenda
Logistics & Distribution
10. Manage inbound and outbound logistics to meet delivery schedules.
11. Liaise with suppliers & transport providers to coordinate shipments.
12. Review & implement improvement opportunities
Team Leadership
13. Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
14. Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and performance reviews.
15. Manage staffing levels, shift patterns, and holiday cover.
Systems & Reporting
16. Use ERP tools to track inventory and performance.
17. Generate reports on KPIs, stock level accuracy and operational efficiency.
18. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics functions.

Person Specification
Essential
20. Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management.
21. Strong leadership and team management skills.
22. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
23. Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
24. Knowledge of UK transport and logistics regulations.
Desirable
25. Relevant qualifications (e.g. CILT, NVQ in Logistics Operations).
26. Experience with lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
27. Forklift licence or similar certifications.
