Job Purpose
Lecturer in Carpentry – to organise and deliver classroom theory sessions at level 3 and related topics. Also to teach practical in workshop, assess learners' work (including workplace assessment), liaise with City & Guilds, maintain quality via internal QA. Leadership within team to align assessors and instructors with theory topics. Provide regular tutorials, support learners in Skills Competition Wales and World Skills.

Weekly Hours
37 hours per week. 835 hours annual teaching time, 24–26 hours teaching per week. Up to 5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.
Annual Leave
46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum.
