We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Foundation Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Wirral area.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced EYFS practitioner to support teaching and learning within a Reception classroom. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality early years education, supporting both individual and group learning, and promoting a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
* Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
* Provide 1:1 and group support as needed
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Requirements:
* Relevant EYFS qualification
* Previous experience in a school or nursery setting, specifically within the EYFS framework
* A patient, caring, and flexible approach
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
