Private Client Paralegal Full Time, Permanent Monday to Friday 35hrs £22,250-£30,000 DOE (banding guide only) Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our clients Private Client team in the Whitley Bay area. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of legal tasks, ensuring smooth case management and effective communication within the department. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support case preparation Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Word and other Office applications Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date Assist with scheduling meetings, court dates, and appointments using Microsoft Outlook Manage electronic and paper filing systems efficiently to ensure easy retrieval of information Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and external agencies via written correspondence or phone calls Support the team in preparing presentations or summaries for court proceedings or client meetings Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal standards through meticulous record keeping Requirements Previous experience within Private Client remit Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Good time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with professionalism and discretion
