Private Law Solicitor
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full time Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our Legal Aid Team in our Rugby Office. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Private Law Children/Matrimonial and Domestic Abuse Cases.

* Manage caseload of primarily legal aid cases including private law children matters, matrimonial finances and domestic abuse applications
* Attendance on clients to take instructions
* Drafting statements of evidence, Court applications, letters, preparation of file notes, telephone notes and other correspondence.
* Undertaking legal research
* Preparing cases for Court
* Undertaking advocacy at various hearings throughout the case
* Liaising and working collaboratively with other professionals and experts
* Ensuring compliance
* Other office duties as required.
Key experience
* Strong Excel, Work and Outlook skills
* CILEX Or Solicitor with 1-year+ PQE and experience
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to keep claim under pressure and work to tight deadlines
