Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
* Carry out excavation and groundwork tasks, including digging trenches and foundations.
* Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively for various groundworks.
* Assist in the installation of drainage systems, utilities, and other infrastructure components.
* Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
* Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to the supervisor.
Experience
* Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment and materials.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to operate tools and machinery effectively.
* A willingness to learn new skills and techniques within the construction industry.
