Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager role in a Wine & Spirits company based in the UK. Our client is a well‑known broker of barrel whisky and a provider of distillery services to the Scotch whisky sector. They have good ties to the major whisky manufacturers and a sizable stock of cask whisky on hand.
Responsibilities
The primary objective of this job will be to be accountable for the entire purchasing cycle, from procuring products to consulting with Finance on billing, collaborating with Transport and Distribution departments on stock storage, and interacting with all personnel on project needs.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Procurement Manager or Buyer.
* CIPS qualification.
* Language skills in Spanish, Italian, or Chinese.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
* Exceptional organisational and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to investigate the internet thoroughly.
* Capacity to operate under pressure while being proactive and adaptive.
* Excellent time and task management abilities.
* Excellent problem‑solving and negotiating abilities.
