About the Role As a Procurement Manager, you will be a key member of the Strategic Procurement Team within the Resources Directorate, responsible for advising and supporting senior management and officers on all aspects of procurement and commissioning activity within the client directorates. The role plays a key part in developing and implementing our Procurement Strategy, ensuring that procurement activity contributes to delivery of the client’s Corporate Strategy. About You You will need comprehensive knowledge of procurement best practice in a Public Sector context (minimum 3 years), including knowledge and experience of operating within Public Procurement law and the UK procurement regulations (including Public Contract Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023). You will have significant procurement experience and will thrive in forming strategic relationships with senior management teams. You will drive delivery of a range of procurement projects along with heads of service, commissioning managers and contract managers. You will be involved in developing strategy and policies, and supporting directorates to ensure these policies are implemented.
