Description
Keoghs is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to join a high volume fast paced Cashiering team to provide efficient and accurate support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Varied role to include:
* Processing Client and Office receipts, payments and transfers under multiple currencies and jurisdictions (SRA, LSI & LSNI) across multiple ERP’s
* Daily Bank Reconciliations and maintenance of accurate cashbook records
* Mailbox management dealing with complex ledger queries
* Assisting with Audits & Inspections
* Acting support for Finance Assistants and Assistant Cashiers
* Suspense Account maintenance
* Monitoring Client account balances and ensuring funds are managed in line with regulations
* Contributing to process improvements
Working Hours:
35 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is Bolton Parklands. Hybrid role agile working policy in place to suit business need.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
* Experience working as a Legal Cashier within a Law Firm
* Strong knowledge of SRA, LSNI & LSI Rules
* Ability to work under pressure, excellent time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Experience of all Microsoft packages
* Proficiency in Legal Accounting software

* Customer Service - Ability to manage a high volume workload and demonstrate proactivity and initiative whilst delivering a first class customer experience.
* Problem Solving - Ability to resolve queries and deliver sound results whilst under tight deadlines with strict adherence to various timelines.
