Unilever is currently hiring for a Marketing Lead/Assistant - PC Innovation & Experiential

Reports to: Tamryn Taylor

Scope: Southern Africa

Location: Durban or Johannesburg

JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

1. Lead and deploy our ambitious Deos innovation pipeline to drive thought leadership in the market

2. Innovation Communication / Asset Development

3. Lead the creation and deployment of experiential marketing initiatives for our innovations that enhance brand visibility and consumer experience.

4. Outercircle support of Deodorants Agile Squad

5. Help deliver the Deos growth agenda through penetration driving activities

6. Weekly and monthly performance tracking and course correction across the 6 P’s

7. Active management of the brand P&L

8. Track and course correct in market launches to ensure success.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies.

10. Monitor and analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.

11. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and experiential initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

12. Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources.

13. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and agencies.

14. Drive thought leadership in the market, positioning the brand as a leader in innovation and experiential marketing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

Minumum:

15. 3-4 years experience in brand marketing including innovation leadership and exposure to communication

16. Attended Marketing Foundations course

Preferred:

17. 5 Years + experience

18. Innovation leadership from pre-start to PLE

19. Developed and created a TV asset and KVs from start to finish

20. Experience managing/working with creators and partners

21. Experience landing consumer activities penetration driving events
