Job Introduction
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to join our team at Diageo Shieldhall in Glasgow. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our people, assets and clients by delivering a high standard of service on site. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional team in a well-established contract, offering consistent shifts and excellent benefits.
What You’ll Do
* Ensure the security and safety of the site through regular patrols and monitoring
* Carry out access control, identification checks and vehicle checks
* Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
* Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
* Operate security systems including CCTV and control room equipment
* Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors and contractors
What You Bring
* A current and valid Security Guard SIA licence
* First Aid qualification
* Previous experience in a security role
* Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with people
* Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
* Basic PC literacy and willingness to learn site‑specific systems
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be 18 or over due to licensing requirements
