The Company:
ER Recruitment are working with an ambitious, well-established and growing property and asset management firm. They have a national client base, including private and institutional clients. The business has a collaborative culture and is expanding, giving the right candidate a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the company’s growth.
Role & Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager & Surveyor:
* Manage day-to-day operations across a commercial property portfolio worth £150m+, including industrial estates, warehouse units, and offices.
* Oversee lease obligations, service charges, and budgeted expenditure, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
* Conduct regular compliance inspections, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and lease obligations.
* Liaise with tenants, landlords, contractors, and professional advisors to maintain strong working relationships and high service standards.
* Coordinate maintenance and repair programmes efficiently and to specification.
* Support asset value enhancement, operational efficiency, and strategic growth initiatives across the portfolio.
About You as the Commercial Property Manager & Surveyor:
* Proven experience in commercial property management combined with surveying expertise.
* Ideally qualified or part-qualified in property/real estate (RICS / MRICS preferred but open to discussion).
* Strong knowledge of UK property legislation, landlord & tenant law, and compliance regulations.
* Confident, reliable, and accountable — able to manage a significant portfolio and multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
