As a Transport Team Manager, you will play an important part to ensure the efficient running of all transport functions while, making sure Health and Safety & Transport compliance is a top priority. This is a full time, permanent role, working hours of 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm Pay, benefits and more: Were looking to offer a salary of £42,000 per annum, and 26.5 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What youll do on a typical day: Manage the day-to-day running of transport operations across stores, outside storage and vendor operations. Lead, motivate, and support drivers and transport office teams across your shift. Deliver daily briefs and debriefs, ensuring clear communication and expectations. Manage driver performance, compliance, and behaviours, escalating where required. Ensure all incidents, delays, failures, and refusals are investigated and recorded. What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous experience working within a fast-paced transport environment, with confidence of managing drivers Good understanding of transport regulations and compliance.
