NTM-GB Ltd is a dynamic and ambitious company, which designs, manufactures, and sells Refuse Collection Vehicles both in the UK and Internationally. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at our site in Kidderminster.
The successful candidate will have proven mechanical training and experienced, preferably, in facilities management or plumbing. A good understanding and knowledge of manufacturing environments is essential. Good organisational skills, time management and administration/ IT skills are also vital.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Completing/ obtaining/ storing paperwork as and when required to ensure relevant checks are documented and compliant with our insurance and ISO requirements.
* Ensuring the site and all machinery and equipment is working fully and safely and are compliant with health and safety guideline and regulations.
* Assisting in maintaining machinery and equipment in line with the maintenance schedule or in response to breakdowns
* Carrying out building and site maintenance as needed including routine repairs and maintenance
* Communicating effectively with departments to advise on maintenance schedules and updates
* Assisting with the upgrading of the building and infrastructure
* Maintain all fire safety equipment and procedures
* Supporting our insurers with compulsory checks
* Identify any non-compliance or safety risks promptly and respond accordingly
* Assisting with the relocation of machinery and equipment if needed
* Ensuring any waste from the above duties is disposed of correctly
* Arranging relevant third-party contractors to attend site when required to complete the relevant service or maintenance.
* Performing Portable Appliance Testing on electrical appliances
* Carrying out and completing other duties as required in line with the companies needs
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of fire safety, manual handling and health and safety regulations
The package is dependent on experience, but will include:
* Competitive Salary- negotiable based on experience- (Weekly paid)
* Basic Hours - 39 hours a week- Monday- Friday
