This role provides essential HR administrative support, working closely with the Junior HR Business Partner and wider HR function to ensure smooth delivery of HR services across the business. You will play a key role in preparing HR documentation, managing onboarding processes, maintaining our HR system (Cascade), supporting training and competency requirements, and managing the HR helpdesk. This is a varied role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for supporting people and processes. Key Responsibilities HR Administration * Act as the main point of contact for all HR administration matters. * Prepare employee correspondence including offer letters, contracts, and HR-related documentation. * Create induction schedules and ensure full completion of onboarding before start dates. * Manage onboarding through the onboarding system and maintain up-to-date employee information on Cascade. * Update Cascade with new starters, changes in employment conditions, internal transfers, pay changes, and leavers. * Conduct employment referencing for all new starters. * Ensure e-learning completion for new and existing employees. * Issue reminders to line managers for probation reviews. * Draft leaver letters, complete Cascade updates, and coordinate with IT to ensure return of company equipment. * Liaise with ITRM for IT requests for all new starters. * Provide project administrative support to the HR team. * Maintain electronic employee records on SharePoint. * Complete electronic filing and archiving of starter/leaver documentation. * Draft letters, emails, meeting minutes, and reports.Manage the HR helpdesk, assign tickets, and ensure timely resolution and filing. Training & Development * Provide administrative support for training requests and bookings. * Maintain up-to-date electronic training records. * Liaise with training providers regarding course availability and costs. * Manage the PO process for all training bookings. OOC Anthro Support * Provide administrative support for operatives/trades, including new starter paperwork, onboarding, and inductions. * Support the Junior HRBP with Day 1 ticket and qualification requirements. * Work closely with the Anthro HR Lead on all administrative elements of the project. Person Specification Technical Knowledge and Skills Essential: - Strong understanding of HR administrative processes and best practices. - Good working knowledge of HR systems. - High level of accuracy and ability to work to deadlines. - Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Demonstrable experience with training processes and systems. Desired: - Basic understanding of employment legislation. - Working knowledge of Cascade. Qualifications Essential: - GCSEs (grade 4–9 / A–C) in English and Maths, or equivalent. Desired: - A-Level education or equivalent.
