Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Duties:
* Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices
* Operate sterilizers, washers, and testing equipment
* Maintain inventory and ensure proper documentation
Qualifications:
* Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician training program
* Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent
* Minimum 12 months of recent experience in sterile processing
* Knowledge of AAMI, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
* Ability to work variable shifts in a healthcare setting
