MacGregor Black are partnering with a luxury fashion brand to appoint a Senior HR Advisor for the UK.
This is a pivotal, standalone market role operating within a matrix structure, reporting to the UK Senior HR Advisor with a functional line into Regional HR. You will own the full HR agenda for the UK, aligning people strategy with commercial objectives while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
As the Senior HR Advisor for the UK, you will act as the strategic and operational lead for all HR activity across the region. You will balance advisory input at leadership level with hands on execution, ensuring best in class HR delivery from attraction through to exit.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end to end recruitment process across corporate and retail roles.
Define job profiles in partnership with hiring managers.
Proactively source and build pipelines of high calibre talent.
Lead structured, inclusive interview processes.
Oversee onboarding to ensure strong cultural and operational integration.
Implement and monitor performance management frameworks.
Partner with retail and global stakeholders to drive engagement and productivity.
Identify training and development needs aligned to business growth.
Analyse workforce data to inform retention, succession and mobility planning.
Manage payroll coordination with external UK providers, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance.
Oversee contractual changes including promotions, salary reviews and amendments to terms and conditions.
Maintain and update the UK Employee Handbook in line with current legislation.
Ensure compliance with UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
Maintain HRIS accuracy and integrity of employee records.
Act as the UK lead for Employee Relations.
Manage complex cases including grievances, disciplinaries and performance processes.
Conduct exit interviews and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Ensure consistent, fair and legally compliant HR practice across the UK.
What We're Looking For:
CIPD Level 7 qualified.
Advanced knowledge of UK employment law.
Proven experience leading HR operations within the UK market.
Minimum three years' experience within Retail or Luxury environments.
Experience operating within a matrix structure is advantageous.
Strong analytical capability, particularly across payroll data and HR metrics.
Confident influencing senior stakeholders.
Italian language skills advantageous.
