* Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supporting the site management in daily operations, ensuring a positive experience for guests, and fostering a productive work environment for employees. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in achieving site goals and maintaining high standards of performance in hotel, restaurant and bar areas.
Responsibilities
* Assist in overseeing daily site operations, including inventory management, leading by example, being the face of the business. Ensuring staff are meeting, Greeting and serving guests as per company policy
* Support the recruitment process by participating in interviewing and employee orientation.
* Manage scheduling and shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels within allocated percentage.
* Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* Maintain accurate records of staff working hours, hotel and restaurant bookings, inventory control and daily checks in all areas
* Implement effective customer service practices to foster a welcoming guest experience.
* Analyze sales data, react on a daily basis, no two days are the same and optimize inventory levels.
* Lead by example in cashiering duties, cash handling, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
* Engage in effective communication with team members and customers to address inquiries or concerns promptly.
* Participate in marketing efforts to promote site initiatives and drive sales.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within hospitality management is preferred.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
* Proficiency in POS systems .
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail for inventory management and administrative tasks.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management and training & development.
* Ability to perform budgeting tasks and manage financial records accurately.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette.
* Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
