Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our busy, friendly pharmacy team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. The role will assist the department in the provision of a high-quality pharmacy service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in the pharmacy dispensary, pharmacy stores and on the wards.
* Provide an effective pharmacy service in the Pharmacy Dispensary, Pharmacy Stores and at Ward Level, contributing to the efficient provision of Medicines Optimisation within RBFT as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Work as an Accredited Checking Technician and Medicine Management Technician, completing Clinical Checks and counselling patients with their medicines.
Candidate Profile
* Pre‑registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians completing their course within the coming months.
* Current trainee pharmacy technicians can apply.
* Necessary qualifications for the post (on‑the‑job training provided).
