The AXA XL Cloud Delivery Lead is responsible for managing the cross-functional activities involved in delivering applications into the AXA XL PaaS Cloud platform. This role involves coordinating teams with expertise in supporting and running Cloud PaaS environments. The successful candidate will work closely with application and technical teams within AXA XL, the Cloud Business Projects team, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand Azure PaaS capabilities and coordinate their implementation according to governance priorities, including managing Scrum meetings and technical discussions.
* Manage integration blockers by establishing mitigation projects and solutions.
* Align technical directions regarding tooling, automation, and engineering with application CTOs, Project Managers, and Subject Matter Experts.
* Support the execution teams with technical issues and defect resolution.
* Represent Cloud Projects in architecture and governance meetings, ensuring delivery constraints are considered.
* Drive initiatives to increase cloud delivery velocity.
* Identify risks in planning, capacity, and velocity, and develop mitigation plans.
* Monitor project progress, report status, and adjust plans to keep projects on track.
* Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of project outputs.
* Continuously improve delivery processes and outcomes.
* Provide positive leadership and maintain transparency with stakeholders.
The Cloud Delivery Lead reports to the Cloud Business Projects Lead.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Senior technology expertise with extensive experience.
* Proven skills in complex technical coordination.
* Expertise in Cloud technologies such as Azure and OpenShift.
* Knowledge of cloud ecosystem, including infrastructure and security.
* Experience managing large-scale datacenter and cloud projects.
* International project leadership experience in English.
* Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Adaptability to changing requirements and focus on iterative delivery.
* Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
* Customer-focused, proactive, autonomous, and capable of simplifying complex issues.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* Understanding of AXA standards related to security and compliance.
