Are you ready to take the lead and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? We’s looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our respite service in Erith, Kent. In this role, you’ll help oversee and deliver high-quality, short-term support that provides both positive experiences for individuals and essential breaks for their families and primary carers.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you’ll divide your time between hands‑on support and leadership or administrative responsibilities, ensuring the service runs smoothly and consistently delivers safe, person‑centred care. Some may enjoy active outings in the community, while others prefer calm, home‑based activities during their stay. Your role is to create a welcoming, structured, and reassuring environment where they feel safe, respected, and able to enjoy their time away from home.
You’ll focus on maintaining continuity of care, adapting quickly to individual support plans, and ensuring each stay is a positive and meaningful experience. At the same time, you’ll be contributing to providing families and carers with confidence and peace of mind while they take a well‑earned break.
