Salary: £20,429 - £31,579 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Professional Tutor (Education) to contribute to our Further Education PGCE programme. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, design effective learning opportunities, and support all learners in achieving their full potential. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development as a lecturer, supported by a dedicated team of Programme Leaders, Coordinators, and Mentors who oversee provision within the department. Key responsibilities include the preparation and delivery of engaging and intellectually stimulating lectures, alongside associated administrative, assessment, and quality assurance duties. We actively promote the use of practical, innovative, and student-centred teaching approaches to enhance the learning experience. The successful candidate will draw upon their professional experience to enrich teaching and learning, enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the responsibilities, challenges, and rewards associated with a career in industry.

Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum.
All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.
Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week.
508 hours annual teaching time - 14.5 to 16 hours teaching per week.
Up to 3 hours per week working of site in agreement with manager.
