Position Overview We are recruiting one or more enthusiastic and committed GPs to join our busy, friendly and expanding practice in Yarm. Candidates can apply for a Partner role or a Salaried position, with the opportunity to progress to partnership.
Main duties
A session comprises 12 appointment slots (telephone, triage, or face‑to‑face, according to patient choice) using the triaging system SystmConnect.
No extended hours. Standard clinical sessions include protected administrative time.
Participate in the on‑call rota on a pro‑rated basis.
Hold a pro‑rated list size.
Collaborate with the extended team (Advanced Clinical Practitioners, First Contact Practitioners, Social Prescribers, a Prescribing Pharmacist, and Mental Health Workers). Our management team provides ongoing operational support.
Other clinical or academic interests are supported and encouraged.
Partners expected to become premises‑owning after one year upon mutual agreement.
Employment terms & benefits
Sessions: 6–8 per week (flexible working considered).
Competitive salary / drawings (negotiable on experience). Salary starts at £10,000 per session.
Contract follows the BMA Salaried GP contract.
Annual leave: six weeks plus one week study leave.

Person Specification Experience
Experience working in a primary care environment.
Experience of CPD, QOF and clinical audit.
Understanding of the GMS contract.
Qualifications
Qualified GP.
MRCGP or equivalent.
Full GMC Registration.
National Performers List registrations.
Knowledge and Skills
Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills.
Effective time management.
Ability to work as a team member and autonomously.
Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure.
