SPI Group is seeking a dynamic and safety conscious First Line Manager (FLM) to supervise and lead operational teams in delivering efficient, accurate, and high-quality logistics services. As an FLM, you'll be on the front line ensuring operational standards, performance targets, and safety compliance are met consistently.
Mission
· Supervise daily operations to ensure service delivery meets customer and business expectations.
· Lead and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
· Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing HSE standards and promoting best practices.
· Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures
· Manage resource planning, workload allocation, and productivity monitoring.
· Drive process standardization and support implementation of business improvement initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
· Conduct team performance meetings, discussing the shift's needs and priorities, ensuring that actions are taken by your team and/or support areas
· Encourage people engagement and assist in communicating company information and notices
· Raise ideas of new initiatives for engaging people within the organization and with the community
· Participate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan
· Liaise with suppliers based on business requirements, monitor performance and where necessary, propose improvements to line manager and implement agreed improvement actions
· Ensure team members are properly trained according to their training matrix
