We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team, supporting the Ambient Non-Food Trading function here at Morrisons.
In this role, you'll play an important part in helping the business understand and improve sales and margin performance across our ambient non-food categories. Working closely with the Finance Business Partners and the Trading team, you'll provide accurate analysis, clear reporting, and valuable insight to support commercial decision-making.
What you'll be doing: Supporting the analysis of sales, margin and promotional performance across Ambient Non-Food categories.
Producing accurate and timely reports that highlight key trends, risks and opportunities within the trading areas.
Helping to identify drivers of performance and supporting recommendations to improve profitability.
Partnering with Finance Business Partners and the Ambient Non-Food Trading teams to provide insight that supports day-to-day and strategic decisions.
Assisting with forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes, ensuring accurate reflection of trading performance.
Supporting process improvements to make reporting and analysis more efficient and effective.

About you A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong analytical and commercial skills.
Comfortable working with large data sets and financial systems (experience with Excel and SAP or similar systems is a plus).
Curious and proactive, with the confidence to question and explore the story behind the numbers.
Able to work independently while building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
Detail-oriented and organised, with a focus on delivering accurate and actionable insight.
