Contract: Permanent, 10 hours per week x 52 Weeks per year

Our Cleaner in Charge will be part of the wider facilities team in the Derbyshire Hub under the leadership of the Regional Facilities Manager. You will work to ensure that our school site cleaned to the standards required through the Trust’s specifications. In addition, you will undertake key holder duties, ensuring the school buildings are secure and alarmed out of hours. We want our regional team to support each other therefore, a requirement to drive is essential. You may be required to provide cover on other sites. The successful candidate will have:
•A proactive approach to fulfilling the requirements of role
•Experience of cleaning premises or the ability to adapt quickly to meet the requirements of the .
•Knowledge and understanding of health and safety while performing the role.
•The ability to adapt to undertake other duties which may be required to cover colleagues.
•IT skills to record and keep up to date compliance records.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues and external contractors on site.
