About The Role
The purpose of the role of an Electrical Project Manager is to plan, coordinate, and oversee the construction
of electrical systems for SZC. This includes managing the installation of electrical wiring, lighting, and control
systems, in addition to ensuring compliance with SSOW. The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for
working closely with other construction team members, including engineers and general contractors, to
ensure that the electrical systems are installed according to specifications and on schedule. Additionally, the
Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team of electricians and other electrical
workers, providing guidance, training, and supervision as necessary. The Electrical Project Manager will
also ensure that all work is performed safely.
The goal of this role is to deliver high-quality electrical systems that are functional, efficient, and safe for the
intended use.
What you'll be doing
Electrical Authorised Person Site Wide
* Responsible for the appointment and Management of Competent Persons
* Managing Daily Work, Support and Breakdown
* Creating work schedules for the team
* Ensuring that Monday.com and EWORF are being adhered to
* Conduct site visits and report to Senior Project Manager
* Implementation & Compliance with SSOW
* Implementation of Field-View Process
* Responsible for Ensuring Delivery of Work Requests is on Schedule
Managing Work Order Requests
* Co-ordination with Tier 2 Contractors
* Providing Support to Senior Electrical Project Manager
* Budget Control
* SSOW Compliance
* H&S Compliance
* Co-ordination with Platform Construction Managers, Project Managers and Project Leads
* Weekly Co-ordination Meetings
* Electrical LV Authorised Person for with Senior Authorised Person Duties
Who we're looking for
Essential
* Experience of managing an electrical team on large UK civil engineering projects.
* Understanding of electrical engineering
* Leadership skills, people management
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to carry out logical problem solving
* Communication skills
Desirable
* Nuclear/license condition experience.
* Experience of managing electrical team on multiple large civil engineering projects.
Essential
Qualifications & Experience
* Authorised Person
* CSCS PQP Card and/or CSCS Black Managers Card.
* SMSTS or IOSH Managing safety.
Desirable
* Experience working within Joint Ventures/Alliances.
* UK major construction experience and associated training.
* Level 4 or 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical and Electronic
* Strong Attention To Detail
