Job Overview
The Laing Family Trusts are a group of four grant‑making trusts which provide funding for a wide range of charities engaged in promoting Christian faith and values and in the relief of poverty both in the UK and overseas. For more information, please visit www.laingfamilytrusts.org.uk. The Trusts are going through an exciting time of transition, with changes in our staff team, new Trustees, a planned move to a new database which will facilitate the introduction of online processes, and the launch of exciting new funding programmes – Constructive Pioneers, encouraging science and engineering innovation in the built environment, and a place‑based programme on the Isle of Wight – all contributing to the organisation’s growth as we prepare for the future. The Grants Manager role will be a crucial support to these developments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful experience and use your knowledge of the voluntary sector in a small but busy and friendly environment, supporting charities helping those in need.
