About The Role
We are looking for a caring individual to join our current support team as a bank worker. In this role, youll support a young lady in Poynton who has complex health needs and lives in her home.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a caring and supportive relationship with our client.
* Provide health‑care support, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition and moving and handling.
* Follow the client’s Seizure Management Plan and administer emergency medication when needed.
* Offer social and emotional support and help the client engage with the community and participate in local activities.
About You
We are looking for an individual who is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring. You must be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative. Candidates with a driver’s licence and access to personal transport are preferred. No prior experience is necessary, as we offer comprehensive training.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be female. This role is exempt from gender discrimination legislation.
You will be required to work flexibly; working hours may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You must be reasonably fit and not afraid of water, as the client, who is a wheelchair user, enjoys indoor and outdoor physical activities. This position involves working on an ad hoc basis to cover holidays and sickness, with shifts that may vary and include both daytime and evening hours.
