Job Description Job Title:HR Advisor Location:Royal Stoke Hospital £28,000 per year Holidays 40 Hours / Monday to Friday / 8am till 4:30pm Blue light card (optional)& Sodexo Benefits Job Introduction As aHR Advisor, atRoyal Stoke Hospital, you will provide efficient HR support to the business, working closely with the People and Operations teams. You’ll manage key admin tasks such as Right to Work checks, absence monitoring, and guiding managers to follow correct HR processes. You will also support HR projects and ad-hoc work under the HR Manager’s direction, offer basic HR advice, and help promote the organisation’s brand across the business. What You'll Do: Deliver efficient HR administration, including record-keeping, contract changes, meeting coordination, and GDPR-compliant processes. Provide first-line HR and ER advice, directing managers and employees to People Services when needed. Oversee compliance for Right to Work, DBS checks, and absence procedures, escalating issues appropriately. Maintain HR systems (Pro WFM, Kronos) and ensure accurate updates to employee and attendance data. Produce regular HR and payroll reports, highlighting trends, issues, and potential risks. Support managers with payroll queries, investigations, and general HR tasks.
