Executive Director of Corporate Governance and Strategy
Salary: £130,000 – £135,000
Established in April 2023, the Bradford Children and Families Trust’s purpose is to enhance the quality and delivery of children’s services across our city and district. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and young people in Bradford and requires dedication, determination, and resilience.
About the Role
This key leadership position drives corporate governance, strategy, and business planning across the Trust. You will work closely with the Chief Executive, the board, and the Council to ensure effective governance and the delivery of strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead core enabling functions including policy, strategy, and business planning.
* Oversee ICT strategy and information governance.
* Manage strategic accommodation and risk management.
* Act as Company Secretary, ensuring effective governance and liaising with external stakeholders.
* Champion transparency and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate across all sectors of the organisation to embed the Trust’s vision.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong organisational leadership experience in partnership, stakeholder management, strategy, and policy.
* Excellent influence, collaboration, and communication skills.
* Experience in corporate governance and risk management.
* Legal experience is not required.
* Commitment to the Trust’s ambition for children and families in Bradford.
