Bookkeeper - Full Time, Permanent
Location: Fully Remote (must be local to Liverpool)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time with flexible start and finish times
Adaptable Recruitment are working on behalf of a successful and growing business who are looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a hands-on, transactional role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and manage day-to-day bookkeeping up to trial balance. While the role is fully remote, the business is ideally looking for someone based within approximately 20 miles of Liverpool to allow for occasional on-site meetings or team catch-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
Managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and statement reviews
Handling bank reconciliations and posting transactions
Maintaining the nominal ledger and preparing accounts up to trial balance
Supporting credit control and cashflow management
Assisting with VAT returns and other finance-related tasks as needed
Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial processes
The Ideal Candidate
Proven, hands-on experience in a transactional bookkeeping role
Confident producing accounts up to trial balance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work independently and manage own workload
Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong communication with the wider team
Desirable: Experience or understanding of lettings regulations or property sector finance
