Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing
You will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse on the NMC register, with at least a degree level education. A teaching qualification such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education or Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) is desirable. You should demonstrate a high level of clinical competence and credibility in a relevant area of expertise. The Faculty supports new staff in gaining appropriate qualifications and ongoing academic and professional development, and offers a robust mentorship programme.

* Travel between the Faculty’s three education centres—Warrington Campus, Marris House Birkenhead, and Wheeler Campus, Chester—though predominantly based in Chester.
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse on the NMC register.
* Minimum degree level education.
* Teaching qualification desired (PGCE Higher Education, FHEA).
* High clinical competence and credibility in a relevant area of expertise.
