Head of Sales – Semiconductor Design - UK at IC Resources. An exciting new company in the UK is looking for a Head of Sales to join the management team. This company plans to become a leading provider of semiconductor design services with a focus on addressing the UK’s long-term skills needs. This is a home-based role and will work closely with SMEs and scale-up companies across the UK to provide critical design services. Responsibilities • Lead the sales function within the semiconductor design services area, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and market presence. • Build and mentor a team of sales professionals and field application engineers (FAEs), shaping a high-performance sales organization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to align offerings with customer needs and market trends. • Maintain in-depth knowledge of silicon, mixed-signal, and compound semiconductors to effectively engage with customers and prospects. • Represent the company with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to strengthen the company’s position in the market. Qualifications • Proven sales and marketing expertise within the semiconductor industry. • Strong technical background with prior design experience. • Experience in leadership roles, including building and mentoring a team of sales professionals and FAEs. • Ability to work independently in a home-based setup and collaborate with SMEs and scale-up companies across the UK.
