As a Vigilance Coordinator, you will be responsible for making sure all regulatory and quality requirements are met by reviewing, investigating and reporting product issues in a timely manner, while also monitoring trends to help identify and prevent potential problems.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday. Following completion of training and probationary period, the role will move to a hybrid model with the option to work two days a week from home.
As a Vigilance Coordinator you will;
* Act as the first point of contact for product complaints and feedback (PER)
* Conduct initial triage, risk assessment and severity evaluation of complaints
* Ensure all complaint information is complete and accurate, obtaining further details where needed
* Prepare and submit reports to health authorities and notified bodies within required timelines
* Maintain vigilance records within internal systems (IQM)
* Coordinate root cause investigations and support customer response activities
* Process and review returned devices linked to product feedback
* Monitor complaint trends and contribute to post-marketing surveillance activities
* Produce quality metrics and reports for management review and brand meetings
* Support continuous improvement of QMS procedures and deliver training on vigilance processes
* Promote awareness and compliance with vigilance requirements across the business
As a Vigilance Coordinator you will have/be;
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Experience in dealing with complaints
* Excellent administration skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
* A collaborative team player with a professional approach
* Educated in a life science, engineering, or related discipline
* Experience working within the medical industry or orthopaedics sector is advantageous
* Understanding of adverse event reporting (desirable)
Please note, a hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory for this position and our Occupational Health team will provide this for you.
Salary: £25,000.00 - £28,000.00 per annum, depending on experience
