We have an opening to join a leading London based Civil Engineering team. We are looking to source a Senior Civil Engineer with a wealth of drainage experience to join this award-winning team. You can expect to work on utilities coordination, below-ground drainage, pavements, hard standings, levels & earthworks across the UK and globe. You'll be joining a team of Civil Engineers who dominate in the aviation, defence, highways, life sciences and industry, nuclear, power, public, and rail sectors.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in various sectors as part of an enthusiastic and committed team of engineers and technicians, working on a variety of medium-sized projects, where you will understand the latest industry-standard software and information management techniques in generating high quality, accurate and detailed design packages. You’ll be working across diverse projects, you will be responsible for delivering civil designs, ensuring technical excellence, and mentoring junior team members. You will have the opportunity to develop infrastructure capabilities within a dynamic and growing team. You will also contribute to the wider development of the Civil & Structural department and support the implementation of best practices in design and project delivery.

What you need to succeed
HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a recognised Civil Engineering degree.
Chartered or working towards Chartership with ICE.
Proven experience in infrastructure design and coordination.
Technical expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
Strong understanding of drainage network design, flood risk assessment, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to mentor, train, and support junior engineers.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in detailed design in SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) and flood risk assessment & below-ground service coordination
