We’re now looking for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team in Castle Donington on a full-time, temporary basis for 6 months (potential to lead to permanent). Specifically, you will: - Assemble Medstrom products in line with manufacturing schedules and customer requirements - Undertake maintenance and general housekeeping of allocated production areas - Communicate with team members and the Production Team Leader to ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved - Monitor allocated inventory of raw materials and components for manufacture - Take good care of allocated company tools - Ensure any manufacturing issues are escalated as necessary Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (37.5 hours per week) About You To join us as an Assembly Operative, you will need: - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage, as would experience of using hand tools - The ability to adhere to strict production deadlines - The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude - Accuracy and attention to detail - The ability to provide clear and concise communication, either verbally or in writing - To be a good team player In addition to the salary and related benefits, you will join a company that has grown extensively within the last five years and, through our unique ownership model, is continuing to grow, whilst offering great career opportunities for those who are keen to progress.
